Two April shows + our updated European tour schedule!

Happy Spring, pals!

We had a powerful time on our February-March tour; thanks so much to everyone who played, worked, hosted us, and came out! We finally debuted DRAIN in a live setting, played outside in a residential neighborhood in Richmond, and even threw down in a motorcycle clubhouse in Savannah. What's not to love?

We have two more shows in the States next month: TN Brew Works in Nashville on April 4th, and Reggie's Music Joint in Chicago on April 10th. And then we head out on our first European tour in May! We're thrilled to share the updated schedule with you, including three new shows in Germany and one in Belgium!

We're heading to Europe this Spring! But first, the Southeast next month!

Hello and happy new year, friends!
While 2026 is off to an intense start at best, we're still looking forward to getting out and being loud in February and beyond! Our co-headlining tour dates with Temptress kick off on the 18th, and there has been one noteworthy change: February 25th will now find us in Miami as opposed to Jensen Beach, FL. Miami is Buick's hometown, and not only have we never played there, she's never played there. Momentous occasion! We've also added a Chicago show to our solo dates in April! We'll see you pals in one of our favorite cities on the 10th.

AND THEN: Europe! Our first time! Thrilled to announce our May-June dates, starting in the Netherlands and ending in Luxembourg! Assorted shows in Germany, France, and Slovakia in between. We truly can't wait. We've been working toward this for what feels like an eternity. And finally, here we come!

In physical media news, we have all shirt sizes back in stock for our BEAR vinyl bundles on Bandcamp! The next Bandcamp Friday is February 6th, but it's always a good time to buy music from artists! In recognition of our first album DAVE turning a full decade old on February 12th, all vinyl orders between now and the end of February will include a free copy of that record on black 12" vinyl!

Dear friends:

A quick note to thank you for your time, attention, and support all throughout 2025! It's a been a huge year for us. We signed to Magnetic Eye Records, released our fourth album BEAR—from which we put forth seven singles with corresponding music videos, toured both coasts and a bunch in the middle, and were able to connect with new and old friends alike. Thank you. Without you, it's a one-sided conversation; we appreciate you being on the other end of the line!

As much as we're reflecting on all that has happened in 2025, our sights are already set on 2026! DEAD & DISCARDED GIRLS video & essay out today!🌿

Dear friends,
Today, we bring you the seventh video from our new album, BEAR: DEAD & DISCARDED GIRLS. This is the closing track on the record; part brutal observation, part wish for something better. Buick wrote the song months after learning about the death of Reena Virk, a fourteen-year-old Canadian girl who was killed by her peers in 1997. The story didn't leave Buick's mind, so she put it in this song along with her own adolescent experiences with violence, rejection, and displacement. The video is premiering at Metal Epidemic, and Buick has also written an essay for Atwood Magazine, expanding on the subject matter. 

We have chosen to release this work today, November 14th, because it is the anniversary of Reena's death. We offer this up with respect, care, and mindfulness.

The video, directed, shot, and edited by Jerry Roe, is a meditation on loss, remembrance, and being engulfed by water. We hope the music, imagery, and message all connect with you.

We also have two new interviews to share with you today! We discussed all things BEAR and beyond with Bob and Frizz of the Rhythm on the Rocks Podcast, out this week! In addition, Buick is this week's guest on the Pursuing the Muse Podcast, on which she talked with Tom Compton about releasing her solo album ADULT CHILD as well as BEAR in 2025, among other things related to her creative process! Enjoy both!

Southwest & West Coast tour dates start this week!🌿

Happy November, pals!

Huge thanks for all the love around BEAR over these last four weeks, and for coming out to the October shows! We had a blast. We're currently on the road again, starting this new run in Austin tomorrow, November 7th! We're out until the 23rd, covering all kinds of ground in between! Check our dates and we'll see you at a loud rock venue near you.

Our new album BEAR is out today!🌿

It's here, friends!

We're beyond thrilled to share our fourth album, BEAR, with you today! A project about belonging, being an outsider, and embracing the margins. It’s yours now, and we hope you love it as much as we do! 

We co-produced it with our friend Kurt Ballou, who also recorded the instrumental performances and mixed the project! Vocals were recorded by Buick Audra, and additional engineering was done by Jerry Roe. Zack Weeks assisted at GodCity, and Brad Boatright mastered. A bear. We're so proud.

We're proud to share FOUND with you today, the newest single from our forthcoming album, BEAR! FOUND is a song about finding oneself, one's art, and the art of others—and also discovering true sense of belonging within those places. It's a song about hope on an album that also asks some heavy questions. It reminds us: when unsure, make work.

The video was directed and edited by Jerry Roe, and shot by Jarad Clement and Jerry Roe with additional footage contributed by Buick Audra and Travis Nicholson. It features some of our favorite spaces where art grows and thrives. Read more about it in the premiere over at CVLT Nation!

MIDHEAVEN video premiering today! Fall tour dates announced!🌿

Happy end of Summer, friends!

Today we bring you two pieces of good news! The first, is the release of the official video for MIDHEAVEN, the second half of the dual single we dropped two weeks ago, X / MIDHEAVEN! It's premiering in Metal Injection today! The video was directed and edited by Jerry Roe, and shot by Craig Hill and Jerry Roe. We're especially proud of the single shot performance in the instrumental bridge! This is truly as close as we get to playing sports, pals. Musically, this is one of our heaviest songs to date.

MIDHEAVEN gets into this idea of being born under a certain set of stars, and whether or not it has anything to do with who we are—and questions those who claim to know the answer. The song is part of the larger conversation around belonging, identity, and influence contained within the tracks of our new album BEAR, coming October 10th on Magnetic Eye Records! Last Summer, seemingly everywhere Buick Audra turned, modern astrologers were predicting doom for the month of August. And so, she wrote a song about what it might be like to blame all things on the sky, both internally and externally. MIDHEAVEN is that song!

X / MIDHEAVEN dual single out today! New video for X also premiering!🌿

We hope you're doing well!

First, we want to thank everyone who has already pre-ordered our forthcoming album, BEAR, coming October 10th on Magnetic Eye Records! Also, thanks to all who have listened to, watched, shared, and interacted with us about the first two singles, KEEPING SCORE and MELT! So glad the new work is connecting.

We're back today with another dual single, X / MIDHEAVEN! In the tradition of the first tracks released from the project, we're giving you some sugar and salt together with this new pair. The album has two sides, and these songs firmly represent each of them. Buick Audra wrote X fewer than six weeks after our friend and collaborator Steve Albini passed; she wrote it while grieving and also observing the lost generation grieve in the singular ways they do. It is a loving nod to Gen X and their genius contributions to art and culture. The video for X, directed and edited by Jerry Roe, is also premiering today alongside the two tracks; all can be found in this great piece in Everything Is Noise! And that camera Buick is shooting in the second verse? Steve's.

At the other end of the spectrum, MIDHEAVEN explores the idea of nature vs. nurture, and whether one can attribute personality and behavioral traits to astrological placements. BEAR is an album about belonging, and these tracks offer different lenses through which to view the subject; one is a more intimate perspective while the other goes wide. We hope you love them both!

First, hello! We're so happy to be here with you all. Hope you're okay. Better than okay! Second, we have so much to tell you! Allow us to start at the beginning.

We've signed a multiple-album deal with Magnetic Eye Records! Truly! We're so happy about it, glad to be among such a cool heavy music community, and absolutely thrilled to have a good home for our forthcoming album!

Speaking of which, BEAR will be released on October 10th through Magnetic Eye! It's an album about the ever-elusive idea of belonging—where it occurs, and where it absolutely does not. BEAR was co-produced by us—Buick Audra (guitars, vocals) and Jerry Roe (drums, bass)—along with our longtime collaborator, Kurt Ballou. Pre-orders just went live!

The first dual single, KEEPING SCORE / MELT, is out everywhere today, along with dynamic videos! The video for MELT premiered in Decibel Magazine last week, and KEEPING SCORE is live today!

One last thing! Buick's solo album ADULT CHILD has been out for one full month now, and her solo electric tour dates start tomorrow, July 16th! Check her dates to see if she's coming anywhere near you!

LEGALIZE LEX this weekend (4/19) + new music from Buick Audra!

Hey friends!

Hope the season is treating you well so far! We've been working on getting our new album to you (it's coming!), but there's still a little bit left to nail down before we can do so. What we're going to do in the immediate future is play LEGALIZE LEX tomorrow (April 19th) in Lexington, KY! We've been looking forward to this festival for months. Tons of great bands, should be a killer time. We spoke with Tom Robbins from the And Now The Band podcast about the event; check out our conversation! Here's the schedule for tomorrow!

Also, Buick has started releasing singles from her forthcoming album, ADULT CHILD, out June 13th! The first single QUESTIONS FOR THE GODS OF HUMAN BEHAVIOR was released on March 21st, and the second single YELLOW is out today! Buick wrote and produced the album, she and Justin Francis recorded it, Kurt Ballou mixed it, and Brad Boatright mastered it! It's a concept record about identity, estrangement, and trying to outrun one's lineage. Check out the new songs and pre-order the album!

New year, new music on the way! First, some shows + a benefit compilation!

Happy 2025, friends!

How are you? We're okay! We're inching into this new year, trying to be of service when and where we can, and preparing to make a whole lot of noise.  We have a new album on the way! It's big and bold and gets into the idea of belonging (What is it? Where do we find it?). We can't wait to share it with you, and in time, we will! First, we're going to play some shows!

Our first dates of the year are all in North Carolina in early February! We're looking forward to playing some familiar and new places with our pals in Bluething. Join us if we're coming anywhere near you! We're also thrilled to announce that we're hitting the beloved LEGALIZE LEX festival in Lexington KY on April 19th! Should be a loud, fuzzy time.

We're so happy to have been able to contribute a track to this compilation, LOVE LOS ANGELES: A Charity Compilation in Aid of the 2025 Los Angeles Wildfires Benefiting the Mutual Aid LA Network, which is out today, January 24th! Two shows this weekend + first tour of 2025 announced!

We hope you're having a scenic late Autumn wherever you are. We've been home in Nashville for the past month finishing our brand-new album! Buick just wrapped the vocals this past week. Now the project is back in Kurt Ballou's hands and will be mixed by the end of the year! We truly can't wait to share it with you.

In the meantime, we're going to play some shows! Our last two events of 2024 are this weekend: Friday, December 6th at DRKMTTR in Nashville and Saturday, December 7th at Boggs Social & Supply in Atlanta! You coming?

Then, in early February, we're heading out for our first shows of 2025, all in North Carolina! Stoked to be hitting some cities we haven't played in a while—and some we've NEVER played (what's up, Winston-Salem?)!

Speaking of North Carolina, we're honored to have a track on this incredible, massive compilation, CAVERNS OF GOLD, released on November 1st! This project benefits Beloved Asheville, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing relief and long-term support for the community as the Western North Carolina region rebuilds from hurricane damage earlier this year. The compilation boasts a wide range of artists, from REM to us, and we were more than happy to contribute our track DESPERATELY SEEKING (Steve Albini Mix) to such an important and urgent cause. Please support it if you can!

October tour dates start Friday, 10/4!

Happy October!

We'll start playing some shows in just a few days, and we'd love to have you there! This month finds us in the Southwest, the West Coast, the Middle Left (is that a term?), and the Midwest, still supporting our album MASS which just turned one year old! We'll also be playing a little from the BILL album in honor of Steve Albini and our July release of his mixes of that project—plus some brand-new work! Join us!

Speaking of new work, we spent some of September in Salem, MA making our fourth LP with Kurt Ballou! Buick still has to sing the album, but the instrumental work has been recorded and we can't wait to share it with you before too long!

Last, to celebrate the second anniversary of her solo album Conversations with My Other Voice, Buick released the audio for her in-studio performance of Simply Said (Live at Sound Emporium). Enjoy!

Tour dates start this week!

Hi, friends!
Our tour dates kick off this week, and we've added a few! We're stoked to be starting our Fall dates in Columbus OH this weekend (8/24) at Ace of Cups for the Blockout Bash festival; from there, we have a three-show run with our pals in Brother Wolf hitting Detroit (8/30), Chicago (8/31), and Grand Rapids (9/01). A few rad shows sprinkled throughout September, and then we're out for two straight weeks in October. Looking forward to all of it! Thanks for all the love around the release of BILL - The Steve Albini Mixes!
